Dear Parents,
Congratulations
to all our students who performed at the Cadereyta fair last Saturday and a
special thank you to Mr Duncombe for all his hard work! Our students gave
outstanding performances, on a huge stage, in front of a very large crowd! Well
done!
Our Prepa Art
students have enjoyed inspirational visits to the galleries in Queretaro and
Mexico City over the past week where they had the opportunity to gather ideas
for their Cambridge coursework.
As of next week, we will be running a French class
as an extra-curricular activity for years 7 – 13 only. An intermediate group
will be opened on Tuesday and a beginners group will run on Thursday from 3-4
pm.
With record numbers of students
attending after school activities, the 3pm collection is over much sooner.
Please be prompt to pick up your children and we shall try to have them ready
to leave at once. Primary students should have diary, pencil case and homework
in their back pack and the water bottle in their lunch box. Backpacks on backs
(arms in both straps) and two hands free to get into the car! Please remember
to pull as far as you can into the school so that we can load 3 cars at the
same time. Please observe the one way traffic system at 3pm and 4pm! Thank you.
Next
Thursday 20th September the National Population Register (RENAPO) will be
coming into school to register those students whose parents brought in their
documents for their children’s National Personal ID Card. The parent who will
sign the application form must come in on Thursday at the time specified below
according to the first letter in their last name.

As you know, the
school is employing more and more English and Spanish speaking teaching
assistants to support students´ learning.
We would like to know if anyone is able to offer a spare room to an
assistant from the UK in January, in return for some free English classes and
the advantage of having an English speaker in your home. If you are able to
help out with this, please let Lety know in Reception. The word of the week is
independence.
VICTORIA community notices: First of all, one of
our members is moving to Canada and must sell the following items ASAP: several
bicycles, skateboard ramps, dog houses, PSP games, an Xbox 360, Wii, fish
tanks, rabbit cages and a pool or cistern pump. Please contact Sonia Pérez
Pineda at 414 226 6830 or Nextel 62*10*9577. And, Rocío Esparza de la Llata has
nursed a 3 month puppy back to health and would like to know if anyone is interested
in adopting it. You can contact her at 414 231 9559.

ESTIMADOS
PADRES DE FAMILIA:
¡Muchas felicidades a todos nuestros estudiantes que se
presentaron en la Feria de Cadereyta el sábado de la semana pasada y un agradecimiento
especial a Mr Duncombe por todo su trabajo! Fue una presentación increíble en
un escenario enorme y enfrente de un grupo de personas bastante grande.
¡Excelente trabajo!
Los alumnos de Arte en Prepa tuvieron dos visitas la semana
pasada a museos en Querétaro y la Ciudad de México con el fin de reunir ideas
para su trabajo de arte para Cambridge.
A partir de la próxima semana habrá clases de
francés como actividad extracurricular abierto solamente para alumnos de Años 7
– 13. Se abrirá un grupo intermedio el martes y un grupo para principiantes el
jueves de 3-4 p.m.
Con un número récord de niños asistiendo a las
actividades extracurriculares, la recolección de alumnos a las 3 p.m. termina
mucho más rápido. Por favor lleguen a tiempo por sus hijos y nosotros
trataremos de tenerlos listos para agilizar la salida. Los alumnos de Primaria
deberán tener su diario, lapicera y tarea dentro de sus mochilas y su botella
de agua en su lonchera. Las mochilas deberán estar en su espalda (ambos brazos
con los tirantes puestos) y las dos manos libres para poder entrar al coche.
Recuerden entrar al camino dentro de la escuela lo más adelante posible para
que podamos cargar 3 autos a la vez. Y por último, no se les olvide respetar la
dirección del tráfico a las 3 y a las 4 p.m. Gracias.
El próximo jueves 20 de septiembre el equipo del Registro Nacional de Población
RENAPO recibirá a los padres de familia que entregaron los documentos para
tramitar la Cedula de Identidad Personal de sus hijos. El padre que firmará la
solicitud debe presentarse en la recepción de la escuela respetando el
siguiente horario de acuerdo a la inicial
del apellido de la familia.

Cómo ya han de saber, la escuela está utilizando
más asistentes bilingües para apoyar la educación de los estudiantes. En enero
vendrá otro asistente y nos gustaría saber si alguien le podrá ofrecer un
cuarto en su casa a cambio de clases de inglés gratis además de la ventaja de
tener alguien que habla inglés. Si tienen la posibilidad de apoyarnos, por
favor avísenle a Lety en recepción. La palabra de la semana es independencia.
Avisos para la Comunidad VICTORIA: Primero, una de
nuestras familias se muda a Canadá y necesita vender algunas cosas
urgentemente: varias bicicletas, rampas para patineta, casas para perros,
juegos PSP, un Xbox 360, un Wii, peceras, jaulas para conejos y una bomba para
alberca o cisterna. Por favor contacten a Sonia Pérez Pineda al cel 414 226
6830 ó Nextel 62*10*9577. Y, Rocío Esparza de la Llata encontró un cachorrito
de 3 meses y lo ha estado cuidando a que esté sano pero no se lo puede quedar.

- Cuando hay algo referente a sus hijos que les gustaría platicar personalmente, primero hagan cita con el maestro encargado del año de su hijo/a. Si la situación no se resuelve a este nivel, por favor pida una cita con la Directora de Primaria, Mrs Cázares, o Mrs. Gilby, Directora de Secundaria y Prepa. En caso de no obtener una solución con estás dos opciones, por favor hagan cita conmigo.
