ESTIMADOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:
Muchas felicidades a nuestro equipo de fútbol de Primaria que jugó un partido contra el Sovany el martes 31 y el marcador final fue 1-1. Todos se divirtieron mucho.
Queremos invitarlos a la Copa VICTORIA, una competencia de fútbol que se llevará a cabo el jueves 16 de junio de las 9:00 a.m. a 1 p.m. en el VICTORIA. Los miembros del equipo de fútbol de Primaria de Años 5 y 6 estarán compitiendo en contra de 3 otras escuelas locales. Por favor vengan y apoyen a nuestro equipo.
Quiero agradecerle mucho a Miss Cheng, Miss Domínguez, Mr Romero y Ale por haber llevado a los niños de Año 4 de campamento la semana pasada al Arenal. Los alumnos se la pasaron muy bien y esto no hubiera sido posible sin el apoyo del personal docente. ¡Muchas gracias!
A todos los padres de familia que muy amablemente nos ayudaron a organizar el evento informativo en San Gil, les damos las gracias y agradecemos mucho su apoyo.
También quiero darles las gracias por seguir apoyando al Orfanato de Tequisquiapan. Su nueva casa, que se encuentra justo detrás de Dorantes, ya casi terminan de pintarla gracias a la ayuda de la Presidencia y otras donaciones. La semana pasada los alumnos de Año 12 iniciaron un proyecto de 4 semanas, visitaron el orfanato y trabajaron con los niños en varias actividades educativas. Este mes nos gustaría dar nuestro apoyo por medio de la donación de los siguientes artículos:
Kinder y Año 1: Cereal y leche en tetrapak | Año 2: Pañales |
Año 3: Arroz y frijoles | Año 4: Avena y fruta en lata |
Año 5: Pasta y aceite | Año 6: Cloro |
Año 7: Jabón líquido para trastes | Año 8: Detergente en polvo |
Año 9: Jabón para uso personal. | Año 10: Champú y pasta de dientes |
Año 12: Atún |
La próxima semana tendremos la Semana Cultural en Primaria. Este es un evento especial en el que los alumnos se concentran en la cultura de otro país, recreando algo del medio ambiente y práctica de sus costumbres. Invitamos a los padres de familia que nos acompañen en nuestro 'Tour Mundial' el viernes 10 de junio a la 1 p.m. Si al terminar quieren llevarse a sus hijos les agradeceríamos que escribieran una nota en el diario de su hijo durante la semana.
Algunos avisos:
· Por favor aseguren que su niños acuden a la escuela todos los días con una botella de agua y gorra.
· Si requieren de una factura electrónica para los pagos de colegiatura es necesario hacernos llegar el depósito bancario inmediatamente para que podamos procesar la factura dentro del mismo mes en el que se realizó su pago. No podremos hacer una factura electrónica para pagos recibidos en meses anteriores. En caso de realizar el pago de colegiatura el último día del mes, será necesario entregarlo ese mismo día para poder generar su factura.
· El jueves 23 y viernes 24 de junio entre las 8 y 10 a.m. será necesario que acudan todos los padres de los niños en Años 2 a 7 a firmar las boletas en la Administración. Ahora es necesario que las boletas estén firmadas y que los revise el Inspector de Primaria de la Zona. Es un requisito nuevo de la SEP el cual se está implementando este año.
· La próxima semana es nuestra última semana de exámenes internacionales y Año 10 tendrá su semana de exámenes.
El departamento de arte está recolectando azulejos y platos de cerámica en desuso para proyectos futuros. Si tienen alguno que puedan donar, favor de enviarlos a Mr. Dumcombe. ¡Gracias!

DEAR PARENTS,
Congratulations to our Primary Football Team who played against The Sovany School on Tuesday. The final score was 1-1 and everyone had a great time.
We would like to invite you to the Copa VICTORIA, a football competition which will be taking place on Thursday 16th June from 9:00am until 1:00pm at VICTORIA. The Yr 5 and 6 members of the Primary Football team will be competing against 3 other local schools. Please come along and show your support.
I would like to say a big thank you to Miss Cheng, Miss Dominguez, Mr Romero and Ale for taking Yr 4 on their camp last week to El Arenal. The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the teaching staff; thank you!
Thank you to all the parents who kindly helped us to organise our informative event in San Gil on Monday. We really appreciate your support.
I would also like to thank you for your continued support with the Tequisquiapan Orphanage. Their new home (just behind Dorantes) has almost been completely painted with help from the Presidencia and other donations. Last week, our Yr 12 students started a 4 week project where they visited the orphanage and worked with the children on a variety of educational activities. This month we would like to support the Orphanage with donating the following items:

Next week will be Culture Week in the primary department. This is a special event when we try to immerse the students in the culture of another country, recreating some of the environment and practising the customs. Parents are invited to join us for their own ‘World Tour’ at 1:00pm on Friday 10th June. If you then intend to take your children home, we would greatly appreciate a note in the diary earlier in the week.
A few notices:
· Please make sure that your children bring a bottle of water and a sun hat to school every day.
· If you would like an electronic receipt for your school fee payments, please make sure that you send your bank receipt into school immediately so that we can process the electronic receipt the same month as the payment was made. We cannot produce electronic receipts of a different month to the payment date. If you make a payment on the last day of the month then you will need to come into school the same day for your electronic receipt.
· On Thursday 23rd June and Friday 24th June, between 8am and 10am, we need all parents of children in Yrs 2 to Yr 7 to come to the administration department to sign the boletas. We then need to send these signed boletas to be checked by the Primary Zone Inspector. This is a new SEP requirement that has been introduced this academic Yr.
· Next week is our final week of international exams and Yr 10 will also have their examination week.
The Art Department is collecting tiles and old ceramic plates for future projects. If you have any that you would like to donate please send them to Mr Duncombe. Thank you.
